When you want to make less impact on the environment , you want to build with natural and locally available materials , we were fortunate to design and contribute a tree house for our client who wanted to connect with nature closely . The setup had to built with very less intervention with respect to the site area, For which we chose a tree near the compound wall and used the compound wall to support the balcony and house the open toilet and shower. The Setup is simple with a sleeping cum working place , opening to a deck / balcony with a hammock. with open views of the forest around. it was supported on granite pillars and the compound wall and was made out of casuarina tree logs and thatch roofing.
