We were delighted when Cookscape approached us to design their new outlet in Coimbatore. Cookscape is a leading Kitchen and wardrobe interior studio based out in Chennai, they have an entire team for design to execution, and this made us feel special that we had been chosen to design their showroom.  The brief was simple, to create maximum kitchen units and wardrobe units. We started off by removing all the walls and leaving the frame. The design ideology was to create multiple and haphazard corridors to create a sense of confusion for the user, the idea is to make the user seek new things at every corner or junction; get surprised with what is being used. Lighting colour palates were carefully chosen and detailed out to create a stark yet subtle contrast for a visual experience. Lighting was planned to set the mood at different time of the day, being in a small floor plate the design evolved to be not dumped with everything but still looks like there is scope for more, meaning that anything is possible through design.
