Sajna Boutique
A popular bridal wear designer in the city wanted a space for her clients to come look at her collection as well as experience the process of their working, For which we were asked to take up an open terrace and convert it into a showroom and working area, Working on a budget we came up with a design that starts with semi open patio with walls painted grey and white pebbled floor with random arrangement of kadappa slabs. The flooring in the waiting area is red oxide with seating to enjoy the evening winds and the view from terrace. On entering the green double door we face the wall with arched windows inspired from chettinad houses of south india. the wall is hand painted with leaf and floral patterns using natural colours , the sunlight through the coloured windows renders the space beautifully during evenings. The floor is made of hand made athangudi tiles fro chettinad with mustard yellow base and green motifs . A wall art for the clients to pose, a circular floor seated table for discussion and an open storage box and hanging space were also provided,
